Manitou Springs Heritage Center, 517 Manitou Ave., Manitou Springs. Col. Tom Duhs USMC (Retired) will share the story of the 10th Mountain Division. The unique nature of the only U.S. Army mountain division, its recruitment, training, employment and work after WWII is a fascinating story. Learn how these recruit were taught to ski at Camp Hale, outside of Leadville. The Ski Troops liberated Italy in 1945. This is a slide presentation. Everyone is welcome.

Community Congregational Church, 103 Pawnee. Learn about essential oils, essential oil blends, touch therapy, and reflexology. Pikes Peak Hospice & Palliative Care will present their Aroma Therapy Education Program and tell how the application of these oils are used in their care programs. The program is for general information about essential oils for relaxation and stress relief. This is a short program of about 45 minutes and time allowing would include hand therapy! It is not a sales program. Everyone is invited to learn how essential oils can benefit your daily life and some simple hand massage and reflexology.
